Edinburgh’s St James Quarter is getting ready for the festive season with exciting events. The shopping mall will host a Christmas parade filled with lights, live performances, and family fun. The parade on November 9 will feature jazz musicians, ballerinas, panto stars, and Santa himself. The parade will travel to different parts of the city, spreading Christmas cheer.
After the opening weekend, St James Quarter will continue to have a calendar full of holiday events. Kids can join Elf School, make reindeer food, and meet Santa’s helpers on November 24. In December, there will be live music performances with a festive twist and a Bridgerton-themed Christmas event for elegance and luxury. Guests can also get their gifts wrapped by professionals in exchange for a donation to charity partners.
Estate Director Anne Ledgerwood expressed excitement for the Christmas program, which includes music, dance, and interactive experiences. Guests can also visit the magical Christmas shop window on Level three for a festive display and a chance to win a gift card by sharing their pictures on Instagram.
In addition to these events, the local community will also participate in choir and carol singing performances. The St James Quarter aims to provide a magical experience for all guests to enjoy during the holiday season. Make sure to visit the shopping mall to embrace the festive spirit and create lasting memories.
