So this journalist, a new and fresh out of school, decided to write about comedian Chris McCausland criticizing his Strictly Come Dancing partner Dianne Buswell. Apparently, she thought it would be funny to prank him during one of his comedy shows by putting on a weird voice. Not really sure why this matters, but Chris was upset because he can’t see and relies on sounds to interact with people. He called her a “hideous abomination” for her prank, but they still laughed about it.
Chris and Dianne, who won the Glitterball, seem to have a great friendship, according to Devon Live. Dianne even went on a road trip to visit Chris on tour and praised his comedy skills and posture. Seems like winning isn’t everything, but at least they’re having a good time together.
Despite Chris downplaying his win, it’s actually a big deal for the blind community. Another blind dancer, Shaun Hayward, praised Chris for raising awareness about dancing for people with sight loss. So, I guess this whole Strictly drama might actually be important after all.
