Several homes in West Lothian were targeted by thieves in a series of break-ins that police believe are connected. Four houses in close proximity to each other were broken into on Thursday, October 3. The first incident occurred at a property on Barn Place, Livingston between 2.30pm and 3.30pm, where jewellery was stolen. The second break-in took place at a home on Anderson Green between 3.30pm and 5.25pm, with cash being taken. A third property on Blinkbonny Gardens in Breich was targeted between 4.30pm and 6.35pm, but nothing was stolen. Another break-in occurred on Redlands Court, East Whitburn between 5pm and 6.50pm, however, nothing was taken from this property. Police are investigating these incidents as linked and are appealing for information from the public. A red Alfa Romeo car was spotted in the vicinity of the break-ins, and detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward. Detective Sergeant Keith Sinclair stated that there has been a recent spate of break-ins in the West Lothian area, and they are looking into the possibility of these incidents being connected. He encouraged anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or have any relevant footage to contact the police.
