Three Dudes on the Run: West Yorkshire Detectives Need Your Help!

So, apparently, the detectives from West Yorkshire are on the hunt for three guys who were involved in a hit-and-run in Leeds that led to the tragic death of 19-year-old Ashton Kitchen-White. The men, who hail from Scotland and Cornwall, are being sought after by officers who are reaching out to the public in those areas for any information that could help track them down.

The whole incident went down on Ring Road Beeston Park, Middleton, around 10.09 pm on a Friday night back in May. Ashton was struck by a red Ford Focus that just kept on driving, leaving him fatally injured. Two young lads, aged 19 and 15, were initially arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, but they’ve since been released from police bail and are no longer considered suspects. The plot thickens as it turns out that the Ford Focus had made its way all the way from Scotland to Leeds just before the collision.

Now, the names of the three suspects are out in the open: Regan Kemp and Macauley Martin, both 26, and Liam Miller, 24. Kemp is from St Just, Penzance; Martin is from Livingston, West Lothian; and Miller is from Polbeth, also in West Lothian. These three amigos apparently high-tailed it back to their respective areas post-incident, leaving the authorities scrambling to track them down.

Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle is on a mission to bring justice for Ashton and his grieving family. He’s urging anyone who may have seen these suspects in Penzance or Livingston, or who has any info that could help locate them, to step up and do the right thing. Loyalty to the wrong crowd shouldn’t stand in the way of justice, especially when a young life has been brutally cut short.

If you’ve got any dirt on these guys, don’t hesitate to reach out to West Yorkshire Police’s Major Collision Enquiry Team. You can call them at 101 and mention Operation Pintford or crime reference 13250275852. Oh, and if you’re feeling a bit sneaky, you can always spill the beans anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111. Your call could make all the difference in bringing closure to Ashton’s loved ones.
