Edinburgh police are urgently seeking the public’s help in locating Marius Thuemmler, a 33-year-old man who has gone missing from the Leith area. Marius was expected to travel from Leith to Wester Hailes on January 4, but he never showed up at his destination.
Distinctive Appearance and Circumstances
Marius Thuemmler is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall with long dark blond hair, a beard, a moustache, and multiple tattoos on his arms with various designs. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black hooded top over a t-shirt, and white and green trainers. Marius, who resides in England, was visiting relatives in Edinburgh during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Despite his familiarity with Edinburgh, he does not have any regular places he frequents in the city.

Inspector Kenny Robertson from Police Scotland has stated that authorities have been diligently reviewing CCTV footage and collaborating with local transportation companies, including bus and taxi services, as well as the British Transport Police. Despite these efforts, Marius has not been sighted thus far. Inspector Robertson urges anyone who may have seen Marius or knows of his whereabouts to contact the police immediately.
